How points are calculated for each game
Base Points

Wrong winner, 1-goal game Game ends with a 1-goal margin and you picked the wrong winner — consolation regardless of prediction | 1 |

Multipliers
| Condition | Effect |

🇱🇻 Latvia game Any game involving Latvia — points are doubled. Jokers cannot be used. | ×2 |
🏆 Playoff game Semifinal, Bronze Medal, or Final — all points are doubled. Quarter-finals are not doubled. | ×2 |
🃏 Joker Use up to 3 jokers across the tournament on group-stage games (not Latvia games). Doubles your points for that game. | ×2 |
⚠️ Multipliers do not stack — only one ×2 applies per game. A Latvia game in the final still gives ×2, not ×4.
Examples
Group game, Latvia vs Canada ends 3–1:
- Predicted 3–1 → 7 × 2 = 14 pts (exact + Latvia)
- Predicted 2–0 → 4 × 2 = 8 pts (correct winner + diff)
- Predicted 4–2 → 4 × 2 = 8 pts (correct winner + diff)
- Predicted 1–0 → 3 × 2 = 6 pts (correct winner)
- Predicted 0–2 → 0 pts (wrong winner, 2-goal game)
Group game with 🃏 Joker, Sweden vs Finland ends 3–2:
- Predicted 3–2 → 7 × 2 = 14 pts (exact + joker)
- Predicted 2–1 → 4 × 2 = 8 pts (correct winner + diff + joker)
- Predicted 2–3 → 1 × 2 = 2 pts (wrong winner, 1-goal consolation × joker)
1-goal consolation — Finland vs Sweden ends 4–3:
- Predicted 3–4 → 1 pt (wrong winner, game ended by 1 — consolation regardless of prediction)
- Predicted 0–7 → 1 pt (same — consolation still applies, prediction doesn't matter)
- If the same game had ended 4–2, wrong winner → 0 pts (no consolation for 2+ goal margin)
Prediction lock time
Predictions lock at game start time. After that you cannot add or change your prediction for that game. Plan ahead — the countdown timer is shown on each game card.
